Define frequency, spectrum, and bandwidth.



Frequency: The frequency is the rate at which the signal repeats. It is measured in Hertz (Hz).

Spectrum: The spectrum of a signal is the range of frequencies that it contains.


Bandwidth: The bandwidth of a composite signal is the difference between the highest and the lowest frequencies contained in that signal. It is expressed in cycles per second or hertz.
