(i) It is 8-bit microprocessor.

(iv) Clock speed of 8085 microprocessor is 3 MHz.
(iv) Clock speed of 8086 microprocessor varies between 5, 8 and 10 MHz for different versions.
(v) It has 5 flags.
(v) It has 9 flags.
(vi) It does not support pipelining.
(vi) It supports pipelining.
(vii) It operates on clock cycle with 50% duty cycle.
(vii) It operates on clock cycle with 33% duty cycle.
(viii) 8085 microprocessor does not support memory segmentation.
(viii) 8086 microprocessor supports memory segmentation.
(ix) It has less number of transistors compare to 8086 microprocessor it is about 6500 in size.
(ix) It has more number of transistors compare to 8085 microprocessor it is about 29000 in size.  
(x) It is accumulator based processor.

(xii) In 8085, only one processor is used.
(xii) In 8086, more than one processor is used. Additional external processor can also be employed.
(xiii) In this microprocessor type only 64 KB memory is used.
(xiii) In this microprocessor type, 1 MB memory is used.
